Rider Assessment and Pilates Packages

In this 90 minute session Kelly will assess your riding and prepare a pilates program that will strengthen and improve your riding and fitness.

The session will be split into 2 parts:

  • Ridden assessment

  • followed by dismounted pilates session.

  • Group Pilates Session

  • 1-2-1 Pilates lessons

I’m happy to travel to coach both riding and pilates.

Individuals or small groups.

  • "I’ve known and ridden with Kelly for 12 years and she is a fantastic rider. I have also really enjoyed having lessons with her. I had a fall in 2016 and lost an awful amount of confidence however she was encouraging and supportive and introduced me to a fantastic Connemara Pony who I love to ride and I now have him on loan. She is calm and positive and never makes you feel uncomfortable or awkward. She is probably the nicest coach I’ve ever had."

    K. Pitman

  • "Kelly’s approach to coaching, whether riding, groundwork with horses or Pilates is thoughtful, patient and very well researched. She’s a true horseman, but has the rare ability to translate her instinctive skills to others. I have found her quiet but thorough and progressive approach is great for Pilates too."

    H Fowler

  • "I have been taught in both one to one and group pilates sessions with Kelly and I have noted real benefits since we started our journey together. Kelly devoted time to introduce and teach me the fundamentals of pilates as well as listening to and understanding my aspirations before producing an engaging, fun and tailored programme. This has improved my strength, flexibility, poise, stamina as well as my breath work. This has in turn increased my confidence in my ability and I really look forward to our sessions which are challenging but achievable. She is passionate about helping me accomplish my best in an a knowledgeable, kind and approachable manner."

  • "Kelly is a fantastic coach, she takes great care with her clients and adapts to their needs. I found real improvement in my riding after a few sessions and achieved my goals."

    A. Mumtaz.

  • "Kelly is the most intuitive teacher, whether in the saddle or on the ground. Her understanding of the physical self, coupled with an innate knowledge of corrective therapy, I cannot recommend her more highly for getting you back on track, back in the saddle or strengthen your body or resolve. She is a joy to be around."

    S. Willis

  • "Kelly has been instrumental in getting me back in the saddle post abdominal surgery. Her Pilates training means she brings something unique to riding by being knowledgeable and practical in her understanding of a rider's core muscle development and balance improvement. I cannot rate Kelly more highly."

    R. Hickman

  • "I have known Kelly for over three years now. She has been so many things to me and has supported me through a remarkably complicated equine journey and through recovery from physical injury. Her patience is above and beyond, as is her professionalism, honesty, kindness and integrity. What I love about working with Kelly is that she can always find a solution to the problem – and I have had quite a few problems!!!

So she is a great coach, understands the bio-mechanics of the human body in direct relationship with the horse, and very importantly conveys genuine interest in improving my performance. She has improved my physical health and supported my mental wellbeing when it would have been so easy to just give up.

She is quite simply a star"

  • "Kelly is an intuitive and talented trainer. Kelly has an innate understanding of how a horse thinks, and her calm presence gave me and my young horse huge amounts of confidence."

  • Kelly is a great teacher! Kelly is always learning and sharing. In the time I have known Kelly, she has been constantly looking to expand her own knowledge and often you the client benefit from Kellys expanding knowledge base. Now this expansion covers Pilates as well as equestrian. I have been doing Pilates for years so I was thrilled to hear Kelly was training to teach Pilates as well. I have had a couple of 1 to 1 sessions with Kelly in Pilates, she carefully considers your body and the activities you engage in and is happy to work out a program that works for you.

Kelly is calm (always, even when the client throws her toys out the basket!), she always seems to know what the next step is. Kelly has a great eye for how the horse is going and how we might improve that. Now with Pilates she can do the same for the human!

The lessons are fun! With Kelly I have experienced using Franklin balls, various bands on and off the horse, the garrocha, Working equitation obstacles, inhand, including more traditional pole work, dressage exercises and much more, nothing is impossible.

    Highly recommend!
